LegoFest Part Deux!
Making their own lego cars to race...
And they're off!
Jake getting in on the action! So excited to be doing what his big brothers are doing and I love how proud he was when his car went down the track :)
Deciding where to put their buildings on the map. Matt went with Michigan and Ben put his in Texas.

Wow! ... just Wow!
Even though he's taller, they still say Daddy's stronger.
Look closely - two little bats hiding in Batman's cape...
You can just hear them ... "ugh! this is so lame. can I be done getting eaten now?"

Medicine Tastes Good Now?
I knew I'd get there eventually, but I didn't think my first "When I was a kid" speech would be about medicine. It used to taste *terrible*. Now it tastes like Kool-Aid. So Jake gets very excited when we get out the dosing syringe.

Waiting For Jess at the Airport
Jess got back into town this weekend after a week in Europe. The boys and I went to the airport to pick her up. It was a pretty quiet day at CVG and we waited for quite a bit while Jess went through customs and dealt with Delta having lost her bags.
Some notes:
-I would like to thank the TSA employee who retrieved Matt's matchbox car after he zoomed it into a restricted area. And for not putting me on the no-fly list when I he did it again 30 seconds later
-While scanning the crowd for Jess the boys would put everyone into one of three categories. 1). Pilots. (people in pilots uniform, or anyone wearing a dark jacket). 2). Pilots' helpers. (flight attendants and anyone else in any sort of airline uniform). 3). "just people"
-When we got out of the parking garage and headed into the airport Ben asked me if we were in Spain now
-Matt took a lot of convincing to get him to come to the airport since he was afraid he'd have to go on an airplane. "They go too fast Daddy! They go three hundred!

Jake Brings Me Shoes
Jake brought me a shoe. I put it on my foot and he seemed so pleased with how this went he immediately went and brought two more. Knowing how many feet I have and able to do math better than a one year old I kicked off the original one he brought and helped him put the other two on. Jake did not like that the original shoe was just discarded and felt that shoes should not be limited to one per foot.
