Yes, monkeys... I feel like I'm raising monkeys these days...there isn't much in the house that they aren't trying to climb these days! And note Thor's hammer... I was told that Thor's mom wouldn't make him get down! Ha!

Elmo's Superheroes

Jake went to see Elmo's Superheroes on Saturday with Gammy and I. He got to meet Elmo, Cookie and Zoe ahead of time and was so sweet saying hi to them. He got a little scared when he thought I was going to put him down on Elmo's lap, so we went and calmed down and then he went back to say hi again. This time he got high fives all around!



At intermission, he had fun with his "popcorn hat"! This kid has his own sense of style, and knows how to pull off whatever he's rockin'. He wore the "popcorn hat" for most of the rest of the day :)



And he loved the show... and eating popcorn with Gammy! I'm so glad we got to take him!

We've come a long way Baby!

We got together with friends of ours on Friday night, both of whom thankfully understand the craziness of keeping track of 3-4 kiddos. Not sure we realized what we were getting ourselves into with 5 adults and 11 kids - ha! But a great time was had by all!



Reminds me of this time 3 years ago...




... who knew we'd add 6 kids in 3 years between the 3 families!

Bat Jake!

Snow... what is that again?

So after getting practically no snow last year, we hurried outside for the second snow of this year to enjoy it! This time we went sledding down the street from our house.

Jake was excited for his first sled ride...



... but after that, not a big fan of sledding!



Matt and Ben had a good time though.



Especially racing down the hill.





And we decided this is about as close to a family photo as we get these days!

Because Horses Need Clothes Too

Ben has been in to making his stuffed animals clothing lately. Here, his stuffed horse gets an Avengers shirt!

They may fight like crazy sometimes...

... but these two sure have a lot of fun together too :)

Backyard Fun!

Duck Ride

Back in June we took the boys to ride the Ducks - the big army-type vehicles that can drive on land and in the water.






Um - what kind of crazy ride is this where we're driving in the river?



And best of all, we now have these whistles that sound like really loud ducks when you blow into them! :)

Pre-K Graduation

Can't believe we missed this one last year! In May, Matt & Ben graduated from their Pre-K class at Bright Horizons. Even though they'll be doing another year of Pre-K next year, we wanted them to go ahead and graduate with all of their friends since they'll be moving to a new school.

A very proud Mama and Grandma. Afterwards I looked at Grandma and Gammy and asked "how many more of these do we have to go through?" It's so hard to believe you're growing up so fast!
