Jake's Baptism

Jake was baptized Sunday, July 17th, at Holy Cross Immaculata - the same church we were married in and Matthew and Ben were baptized in. Uncle Tom and Aunt Shannon are Jake's godparents. A big thank you to Mike and Shannon for coming down for the day!

The Big Balloon in the Sky

After the Reds Game we noticed the blimp was following us home. So we stopped by Lunken airport and got to see it land. I have to admit, it was pretty cool!

Sharing Food...

We took Jake to his first baseball game on Saturday. It was H-O-T! But we all had a great time! Jake enjoyed watching all the people around us and being cute for the girls next to us. He also loved playing with the water bottles - great fun! Ben and Matt are starting to understand a little bit about the game this year. Although, Ben's favorite part was still eating - peanuts, popcorn, and a lemon chill. And the Reds beat the Braves - YAY!

Blueberry Picking

Last weekend we took the boys blueberry picking.



They had so much fun, and were great at getting all the blueberries down low on the bushes. They did a good job getting a lot of blueberries in their buckets, even though just as many were probably eaten by them too!



Even Jake helped!

Ben and Matt include Jake for the first time in what they are playing. It went something like this:

Ben: "Jake, do you want to play train?"
Jake: "Blrghafff"
Ben: "You sit here and be the little red caboose"
Matt: "Jake! You're on our train!"
Jake: "Da, da, da"
Matt: "Choo, choo!"

Things Jake Hates

Jake threw a major fit this evening while trying peas for the first time, the likes of which we haven't heard from him since he was born. He was pissed! I thought about taking a video, but it would have hurt your ears. Let's hope round 2 of peas goes better than tonight!
