Jake's Adventurous Side

Jake seems to have a bit more of an adventurous side than his older brothers did when they were his age.




I was also impressed by his ability to look at the camera even as he's sliding. I can't get Matt and Ben to do that when they're standing still

Playing Baseball

We're working our way up to real bats and balls.

I like how Matt refused to pitch the ball until I held my hand up as a real catcher would.



And Ben had to move the dirt on the mound around with his feet a bit before he could pitch.

Wolves are Scary

Last weekend we decided to see what the non-Childrens Museum part of the Cincinnati Museum was like. In a nutshell, its pretty scary for little kids. They have a Cave environment you can go through so realistic I was on the lookout for Balrogs. I have no video or pictures since I was carrying two three year olds through most of it.

Then we get through that and find out they also have *wolves*

Safety is Important

First Day of Daycare

Today was Jake's First day of Daycare. He was very excited.


Matt and Ben decided to test all the toys in the room to make sure Jake would have fun with them.


The slide was tested with Monkey and Raffy


And determined to be safe



Jake eventually decided to start playing on his own.




So far so good.

Puffs!

A few weeks ago we gave Jake puffs for the first time.



They were a hit and he even managed to get a couple into his mouth by himself!

Great Wolf Lodge

This past week we took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge, an indoor waterpark north of Cincinnati.



Matthew and Ben loved the fountains that came up out of the ground.





Jake had a great time in the shallow water.





Matthew loved jumping the waves in the wave pool!

Jake's Baptism

Jake was baptized Sunday, July 17th, at Holy Cross Immaculata - the same church we were married in and Matthew and Ben were baptized in. Uncle Tom and Aunt Shannon are Jake's godparents. A big thank you to Mike and Shannon for coming down for the day!

The Big Balloon in the Sky

After the Reds Game we noticed the blimp was following us home. So we stopped by Lunken airport and got to see it land. I have to admit, it was pretty cool!
