Matt and Ben Have Discovered that Going Fast is Fun

Its great that they've learned what taking turns means. Jess and I no longer have to mediate the exchange of pusher and pushee. Also, in the video where Jess says "Watch where you're going" she's actually talking to me since I'm running backwards in front of the boys with the camera. And yes that is a tent in our dining room.

Friends!

Our friend Stephanie visited about a month ago, with her little boy Ryan and little girl Katie, so we had everyone over to our house to catch up. All in all there were 6 little ones under 3, including Ben, Ryan, Matthew, and Allie in this picture, and it was so much fun to see them all play together!



And then a couple weeks ago we had another visit from Candace and her little girl Vivian. We were able to get all 5 kids on the couch for a quick picture amidst all the playing (Allie, Ben, Vivian, Matthew, Will).

Do not even try to talk to Matt before he's had his coffee in the morning.

Playing with Matchbox Cars

Matchbox cars sometimes start appearing randomly from underneath doors in the new house.

Sledding

The boys continue to slowly warm up to winter activities. We didn't make it down the hill too many times before they were cold and wanted to go in. They definitely enjoyed the hot chocolate though.

The boys are going to be sad when we finally get some actual furniture.

Ben With His Power Tie

After we had taken our Christmas card pictures, Ben decided he liked his tie and wore it for several days afterward.

I think Matt has it down. And I think Ben wants to start filming the videos himself.

Playing in the Snow

So last years attempt to play in the snow didn't go so well. This year went a bit better, although as you can see from the video, Ben is still no fan. Matt at the least didn't seem to mind it, but Duncan is still the only one who seems to have fun.

Ben on the Phone

So about a week ago Ben started talking on the phone. He'll walk around with the phone in his ear, laugh and say "Yup" Jess and I each think its the others phone technique he's imitating.

Matt Has Learned to Steer

And Ben can push. Mom and Dad's backs are a lot better lately.

They boys have figured out how to work doorknobs. They are now on even standing with the Raptors from "Jurassic Park"

Leaves are Fun, Until they Stick to You

They boys were enjoying playing in their pile of leaves until Ben noticed that they were sticking to him. As we've seen before, Ben does not like it when things stick to him.
